Dipsy-Doodle
is a doodling hand-drawn animation exploring growth and the emergence
of patterns in an imaginative microenvironment.
A full wall projection, the project plays with the notions of scale and
ambiguity, while attempting to integrate craft and digital process.
It takes a second look at the humble but proliferating figurations of
personal unconscious doodling, disseminated in my domestic and working
space.
The intent is to orchestrate a silent symphony in witch different doodles
manifest their character and intrinsic behavior, building towards an imploding
climax. The flowing, underwater pacing the animation gives the visual
narrative an otherworldly quality.
